>A painting is the threshold to its creator’s mind. Human figures entrapped within a work of art make the task of depicting a painter’s view easy. It is when one precludes these figures from a painting, portraying one’s thoughts lucidly still, that the painting becomes a masterpiece. Twenty-two year-old Priyanka Grover, a student of FTII, does just that. Her paintings rarely embody human figures, even while their themes revolve around various human emotions.
