>A Japanese department store, The Takashimaya’s Nihombashi store in Tokyo is offering a diamond studded Christmas tree for $1.8 million, according to AFP. A Christmas tree with 400 diamonds sourced from southern Africa and Australia weigh100 carats. The 40 centimeters (16 inches) high tinsel-tree-shaped tower of preserved roses, and accompanied with a souvenir of a teddy bear.
