>TORONTO, ONTARIO, Jul 14, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX) — Vaaldiam Resources Ltd. Reports the latest diamond sale from its 100% owned Chapada Diamond Mine, in the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil achieved a record price of US$ 800 per carat. A total of 1,967 diamonds weighing 1,116 carats, an average of 0.57 carats per stone, were sold for gross proceeds of US$ 892,708. More information here
