Bright and sunny yellow is the representation of awareness and clarity. The different shades of yellow represents different kinds of effect. A yellow-green color conveys deceit and can create a disoriented feeling, while a yellow-orange color bestows a sense of establishment.

A lot of people learned about amber through the movie “Jurassic Park”. The film surprisingly resulted to a worldwide demand for amber stones. Before, amber was just sold in limited markets, not until millions saw that the DNA of dinosaurs were extracted from a mosquito trapped in an amber stone; it was shown in the film. Yellow Tourmalines
The tourmaline is a family of miracle colored gemstones. It comes in various colors that is influenced by natural processes. Among the most popular tourmalines is the yellow variant. Most yellow tourmalines have a hint of brown. This variant of the tourmaline group is an interesting one and many jewellers use it in making jewelries. It has some traces of magnesium causing the yellow color of the stone. The large yellow tourmalines were very rare in Malawi and only 10% were of good quality. When the stone is cut, 95% of the stone weigh less than a carat.

In the world of precious stones, the yellow beryl is one of the most frequent choices of jewelers. Yellow beryl is also called “Heliodor”, which came from the greek words for sun “helios” and gift “doron”.
A pure beryl is actually colorless in nature, but some foreign substances influenced the change of color in beryls. Some iron and minerals that contained uranium gave a paler yellow tone to beryl. It practically has the same characteristics with the light blue beryl.
