World’s Most Expensive Cooking Pot is Looking for Buyer in China

Fissler from Germany has created the most expensive cooking pot targeting the Chinese consumers who are willing to splurge on practically anything that is the most expensive in the world. Earlier we had seen the most expensive saucepan. This cooking pot is the most expensive by quite a margin as it has been priced at 3.8 million yuan which is equivalent to £380,000. There are many factors that have pushed the price so high for a mere cooking pot.

The pot comes complete with a pair of handles made from pure gold. There is another gold handle on the lid. The total gold used for the purpose adds up to a substantial 738 grams. Some diamond details have also been created on the golden handles. Again a total of 13 stunning pieces of diamonds have been used for the same. The Zhuo Zhan department store in Changchun, the capital of China’s Jilin Province has put this unique and unusual product on display for sale. Read more here

With the economy on the mend and business travel increasing rapidly the airlines are making the business and first class travel even more luxurious. Etihad Airways has always strived to position itself as the most luxurious airlines and they keep doing things to give the passengers a little extra than what the other airlines are giving. This time they have taken the standard amenities kit and blinged it out for their First Class passengers.

They have taken the kit to another level all together. Etihad Airways has partnered with Swarovski to make the kit extra special and luxurious. Etihad is launching the new kit on flights between Abu Dhabi and London, Paris, Geneva, Sydney and Melbourne. They will ultimately offer this kit to all the first class passengers on all of their long haul flights. They have created two distinct kits for their men and women passengers. Women will receive a cosmetics-style bag that will include La Prairie moisturizer, hand cream and lip balm.

Lee Shave, Vice President Product and Services for Etihad Airways stressed the point that most airlines neglect the specific tastes and needs of female passengers but they have taken care to develop the kit to suit to the specific tastes of both their male and female guests. The men will get a black leather cufflink box that includes a shaving kit with a Schick Xtreme 3 razor. This is the first time that Swarovski is collaborating with an airline but we are sure it would not be the last for them.
